Reiki is an energy healing technique that is universal -- not subscribed to any religion. It functions under the ideology that Ki moves through all and is thus available to all. When our Ki is imbalanced, we cannot function optimally. Reiki healing at Haven assists in bringing awareness of the imbalances and aligning the chakras.
Reiki at HAVEN
Each practitioner has their own unique approach to Reiki healing. At Haven, our Reiki healers follow the teachings of Mikao Usui as well as utilize a mixture of pendulum, crystal, aroma and sound therapy. Clients also benefit from an infrared crystal mat,
Each full Reiki session includes two consultations: one to understand any goals prior, and one toward the end of the session where imbalances are addressed and healing results are discussed with a comforting cup of tea or refreshing cup of water.
Every session is unique and during the healing, it is normal to feel changes in temperature, fall asleep, involuntary twitching, see colors, and feel shifts in the room.
Sessions are closed with a personalized blessing and well wishes.
Reiki Before + After Care
Reiki is so uniquely personalized that experiences differ per the individual.
Before a session, it is advised to be fed and hydrated to ensure comfort. You will be laying for approximately 45 minutes, so it is best to use the restroom prior to avoid discomfort. Dress in comfortable clothing, or a robe can be provided at Haven.
After the session, true magic begins. With chakras aligned, the mind will bring awareness to the surface. The body may start to detox and you will be more mindful of your unique soul within. These shifts can come with detox symptoms similar to a cold, and digestive purging. Awareness can lead to strong emotions, thoughts, and forgotten memories that need to be worked through.
As with any complementary and alternative healing, discuss any adverse reactions with your primary care. The healers at Haven are also available to answer any questions, work through any findings, and provide you with support.
